Salah Albuheissi is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Bristol Urology Associates and at the Bristol Urological Institute, Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust. He treats patients with general urology conditions and has sub-specialist interests in andrology (men's health), surgery for kidney (open, laparoscopic and robotic) and the retroperitoneum (testis cancer & sarcoma).

Patient centred care
Salah offers the most appropriate treatment tailored towards each patient's preferences. He regular performs open, laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques, and is currently one of the highest volume surgeons in the South West region of the United Kingdom. He regularly manages complex renal cancers adapting his approach for each patient's unique circumstances.
He excels in nephron-sparing surgery (partial nephrectomy) and is currently one of the few surgeons in the UK performing minimally invasive surgery for post-chemotherapy Retro Peritoneal Lymph Node Dissection.
He manages a variety of urological conditions and has a specialist interest in andrology. He regularly performs corrective surgery for penile curvature (Peyronie's disease) and penile implants for erectile dysfunction.
He is the Lead Clinician for Urology at Southmead Hospital, the largest Urological Cancer surgery centre in the UK, with an equally good Andrology service.
His main research interests are uro-oncology and andrology.
